Post 5: My future job

After finishing my university studies I would like to work as a dentist. I imagine it as a very entertaining and dynamic job, because each patient requires different treatments.

I would like to work in a rural hospital practicing my profession. Therefore, this would be a job both indoors and outdoors, because I would like to attend patients both within the hospital as well as those who live in places that are difficult to access, visiting them directly in their house.

I would love to travel a lot as part of my job and for the same reason I would like to work in a rural area, to be able to leave the hospital to visit my patients.

Besides, if I had the chance to work in a university, I would do it without a doubt, because I'm good at teaching other people and also because I could work in labs researching something interesting.

At the moment, I am not sure which major I will choose. I’m torn between forensic dentistry and orthodontics. On the one hand, I like forensic dentistry because of the investigation and analysis that each case involves, and on the other hand, I like orthodontics because the work is really practical and methodical.
